Timeline: 6051- 6052
1.1.6051-  The Drake hire a Navigator and travel to a place specified by Daemonika's dream Father.   He meets them there.  There is a brief reunion.   They travel to Father's Headquarters- a complex dug out of a cliffside that he says is the home of the Cult of Ezeran.
1.3-4- At the Cult of Ezeran.  Battle with "Father" as he reveals himself to be Daemonika's former Master- whom she thought Syzygy had killed.  Daemonika fractures mentally.  Firesong is Absolved and only Latunda manages to retain any spellcasting ability after the entire party is exposed to raw Arinyark.  They manage to escape only through high risk gating.  Midget gets frozen.
1.4-11- The Flight.  Discover the Vault of the Iceblade, only to find the Iceblade missing.  Contact a village of Myri- Daemonika discovers she's not fullblood Myri.  This causes further mental distress.
1.11- Mio's maps lead the Drake to a  complex of Barrow Downs dating to the early Third Era.  They follow the clues and recover the Windblade inside the Arain Family Vault.  To purge the Wights within they remove the entire Arain Family treasures.  Dannan claims the Windblade.
1.12-21- Travel to Merisia.  Find the Fireblade in the Cloudlords' possession.  Daemonika discovers her true heritage- she is half Myri half Cloudlord and is a illegitimate child of the Kirian family.  As part of the Kirian Clan, Daemonika alone will be allowed to weild the Fireblade.
1.24-  The Great Battle.  "Master" tracks down Daemonika and wants revenge for his "death" and Daemonika's treachery.  He appears on the Plain of Merisia with an army of Undead marshaled by a Demon Scourge and two Noble Gogonaurs.  He drops all pretention and reveals himself as The Implementor.  Upon seeing the forces arrayed against them, Nymalless calls in her favor with the Archmage Morgus and Latunda prays fervently- managing to summon the Champion Matchess.  The Party, Kirian's Cloudlords astride their Steardan, and the Implementor's army clash.  In the ensuing battle,  Dannan goes one on one with The Implementor and has her head crushed.  Morgus transfers himself into her body and continues to weild the Windblade against The Implementor.  Firesong joins the fray and is slain.  Finally, Morgus/Dannan manages to deal a fatal blow.  The Sword Implementor is broken, causing a Flowstorm.  The entire battlefield is cast back in time to central Thuul in the year 1989 TE.
1989-1998 TE:
Nymalless manages to plead with Eissa for the return of Firesong and Dannan, but Dannan has lost her left eye as a result of the wound.    Morgus decides to wander the world.  The Cloudlords decide to try to find a way back to Tanara.  The Drake acquaint themselves with the Jan and establish a trade route with Danarchis and a budding young trade town- Sel-Kai.  In 1993, to bolster their trade, they implement a revolutionary "new" idea- The Bank of Sel-Kai- using the Arain fortune as collateral.  Latunda goes to Namar Tol and marries a elf of the House Jeranian wishing to sever his ties with his House.  They start the House Zeitlounen.  In 1994, the twins Hasek and Ja'Tar are born, children of Draconna Lee and A'kesh Zeitlounen.  Dannan, Latunda, and Nymalless recover the Iceblade and give it to the Drake Lucifer for safekeeping.  They also find the UnderEarth realm of Gethaena, searching for the rumored Narsirbaen to use against the evil that has invaded Urulan.
While studying at Nomikos, Daemonika learns of an item called the Staff of Lights Echoes.  She enlists Ja'rad's help and the sponsorship of the Library.  While searching, she accidentally awakens an Older One.  They eventually recover the Staff, but the Older One learns of current events.
Trying to find a way back to their own time, they learn of the last known location of the Book of Gates- the Isle of Tarania.  Unfortunately, it, and presumably the Book, sank into the sea during the Interregnum.  Daemonika spends 4 days floating in the Lonely Sea praying to Shaal for guidance.  She is shown the way, and the Drake find themselves inside an underground cave complex populated by an ancient race, the Urgyan.  They strike a bargain for safe passage, killing a "god" who turns out to be the last surviving member of his own, even older spacefaring, race, the Azyrri.  He was accompanied  by three exceptional humanoids-androids- who then join the party.  The androids tell the Drake the story of their coming to Kulthea and the crash of the colony ship which destroyed a small island.  The Urgyan and the Churg have been at odds for millenia.   The Drake learn that the Book is an artifact of the Azyrri  and is an object of study and worship among the more cerebral Churg.   Using the status afforded them by the presence of the androids, the Drake are permitted by the Churg to attempt the rites of study.  Should they *all* pass, then they may study the Holy Book.  It takes them 4 years to pass, and study begins.  The Book is brought forth from its Vault.  Before they can finish- after almost a year of deciphering the unknown text- Ondoval appears and steals the Book from under their noses.  To add insult to injury, he quickly masters the three androids and takes them with him.
Frustrated, the Drake turn to Voriig Kye.  In exchange for information about the  coming 4000 some years and a "future claim" to be collected upon in 4000 some years, Voriig agrees to smuggle them into the Ahrenreth.  In the guise of pixie drakes in Voriig's robes, the Drake gain access to the Portal in the Ahrenreth.  Using knowledge gleaned from the Book of Gates, the Drake manage to open a Portal to their own time.
1.24.6051- The Return.  The Drake leave immediately for Daemonika's tower, summoned by Voriig.  Voriig lowers the boom and  claims his favor for sneaking them into the Ahrenreth- Stop Ondoval and Schreck- find the yellow heart.  The Drake is stunned.  They are then summoned to Karilon, where Latunda meets up with her sons.  Latunda is informed  that she is still married- to a member of the dreaded Circle of Eight.
1.25-4.30- At Karilon studying and being studied/debriefed.  The Drake is given tokens marking them as Emissaries of the Loremasters.   The Narselkin, the Blade of Elements, and  the Sword of Urulan are placed in the Vaults for protection.
4.30-5.30- In Norek and Sel-Kai.  Ja'rad claims lands just south of Wilfin Manor using deeds recovered during their time travel.  They learn of events and realize that the Bank of Sel-Kai has made them filthy rich.  After claiming  the gold in accounts 000001 through 000006, they are summoned to Eidolon and briefed by Koren Maas about their holdings.  They pool their resources and realize that an audience with Elor Once Dark might be in order...if they can find him.
5.30- In Saralis.  They are caught in the Death Spiral and rescued by Elor, who invites them in for coffee.  His memory is fragmented, however, and can tell the Drake little of what transpired after he left Voriig's palace.
5.31- In Norek.
5.46- Nymalless gets "paged" by Emperor Jerrin.  They gate to Haalkitaine.
5.48- Frelik assasinated at the gates of Haalkitaine just before Cardinal Belock places the Phoenix Crown on his head.  The assassin is captured.  The Drake recover the body.  Jerrin learns Frelik was right.  Frelik's sons taken to Saralis by the Loremaster T'revor Dekdarion to stay with Elor.  Firesong becomes the Hero of the day for stopping rioting on the field.  Much of the Royal army converts to Kieron.
5.49- The Assassin is found dead inside her security cell.  Latunda and Dannan recover information from Cardinal Belock's tent about a prophesied "Chosen One" and an organization called "The Brotherhood."
5.50-5.64- Outfitting the Mantis for a journey up the East coast to determine the reason for the Northern Frontier's repeated calls for military aid.  Firesong has FastBoots made.
5.65-1.5.6052- New Year's Party at the House of Kieron.  A demon of the second pale suddenly appears, gives Latunda a scroll, then disappears.  Daemonika and Firesong are vexed.
6052
1.6-2.1- hiatus.
2.1-24- Aboard the Mantis.  They land south of their destinatin and continue on foot.  They encounter Erlini refugees from Urulan.
2.27- In Alaros in Wuliris.  They speak to Talin, the Untouched, who is dismayed that the Emperor sent only the Drake in reply to his calls for aid.  The Drake learn that the countyside has been ravaged by bands of giants.  They set out to investigate, stopping at the Brass Stair to claim the Iceblade from Lucifer.
2.29-40- Against the Giants.  They learn the giants are being organized by an outside influence, one Eclavdra, and track it down through frigid wastes and to an active volcano.  During a battle with Frost Giants, Latunda is slain and Eissa herself claims the body.  The weilder of the Sacred Sword of Cay is gone- along with the Sword.
2.33- Shaken, the Drake regroup and Daemonika travels to Karilon in search of reinforcements and to notify the Twins that their mother is dead.  She finds a Professor Ostov, a seeming master of the Elemental arts, and Ahren Xu, a Magehunter.
2.38-  Dannan and Ahren enter the volcano to scout.  While inside the volcano, they witness the summoning of an awful tentacled thing which kills Eclavdra and drags a full grown fire giant into a gate.  Ahren cracks under the mental strain of witnessing the event and teleports away to an unknown location.  Dannan recovers documents which indicate Eclavdra is actually a Priest Arnak.  Further investigation reveals a code which points to the Archprelate of the United Church of Orhan as actually being a member of the Priests Arnak, possibly a high ranking member.  Her mental stability suspect after witnessing the summoning, Dannan returns to the rest of the Drake to report her findings. Cay sends Latunda back as his Avatar.
2.40-  In Norek and at Wilfin Manor.  Picking up pieces and putting them together.  They are led to Sel-Kai when they  learn Cardinal Belock has a house in the Old City.  Nymalless discovers she is pregnant after an unfortunate incident with a Tarot of Many Teachings.  She returns to Lys to be with her parents during her pregnancy.
2.42-2.47  In Sel-Kai.  Investigating Belock's house.  They find his sister, Sarah, in a poor state of mind and a Thing with a Child's Face in a well out back.  They also find the Cardinal- disemboweled in his study.  Papers found link Belock with a Baron Hauptmann in Rakhaan.  They head to Nomikos to research.
2.48-2.58-  In Nomikos.  They find some history about Esov Mur, but few real clues about the origin of Hauptmann.  They go to the source- the monastery at Esov Turic.
2.59-2.61- Traveling to Esov Turic.  They encounter a Wereboar and discover there is a outbreak of lycanthropy in the area- again.
2.61-2.64- researching at the monastery.  They are invited to speak with the current Baron Hauptmann.
2.64-  Confrontation with Hauptmann, who reveals himself as Dansart.  A bargain is struck, and Dansart teleports away after telling Latunda the history of the Faaw Shyraac.  In the following search, the Drake find clues about summoning *very* nasty things...
2.66-  Return to Sel Kai.  Researching ways to shield their minds from casual probing.  Daemonika starts practicing with her Compass.  She is contacted by a member of the Stormrunners Guild and inducted into the Navigator's Alliance.
3.06- 3.16- Nymalless responds to a summons from the Drake to learn spells to cloak their minds.  She studies under Veriak in Sel Kai.  The rest of the  Drake go to Nomikos for research.
3.16-3.21-  Their research leads them to Windy Point Mine.  Supported by Sel-Kai Security Minister Koren Maas, they discover the mine is producing more than Essaence gems- most of the miners are inhabited by creatures which feed on fear.  They discover shipment information for the gems and get a warehouse address in Sel-Kai.  However, they have enough to shut the mine down.
3.22- 3.61  Reurn to Nomikos.  Firesong and Oztoff continue research on books found at Hauptmann's residence.  They find a map to the mythic Lost City of Zaen and a note which indicates that the "Brotherhood of the Beast" is headed there to raise their prophet, Nophru-Ka from the dead.
3.23-  Dannan and Latunda return to Sel-Kai and visit the warehouse where the mine was sending its shipments.  They find a workshop working with Essaence gems and fashioning them into icons which are then shipped to various branches of the United Church of Orhan.  The icons are accompanied by instructions for a ritual to be performed on the new year.  This ritual seems to be connected with the summoning information found at Hauptmann's residence.
3.26-  The Vault of Crowns in central Jaiman fails.  Flowstorms erupt and spread across the hemisphere.  Navigators suspend service due to treacherous conditions.
3.56- 3.61- Oztoff discovers how the Brotherhood of the Beast accessed summoning spells of such magnitude and decides to try it out himself.  He uses a summoning spell and drinks a potion found in Hauptmann's residence.  He finds himself on the steps of the Great Library of Celeano- a sort of holy grail for scholars.  Inside, he finds the place where Hauptmann, Chandler, and an individual named Lang-Fu have been studying.  He discovers that the trio plans to summon something absolutely immense in conjunction with the UCO new year ritual.  He also finds a spell the trio plans to use in the event their creature proves intractable.  As a precautionary measure, he leaves a copy of the summoning spell with slight alterations for the trio to find.
3.61-3.67-  Alarmed by the scope of the Brotherhood's plans, the Drake goes to Sel-Kai and outfits the Mantis for a voyage to Quon to try to head off the expedition to Zaen and find what they want before the Brotherhood does.
3.67-4.22- Travel to Quon.  Dannan's past catches up with her in Ardania.
4.22- Land in northeast Quon at a Shay settlement.  They learn they are behiind the Brotherhood's expedition by about 4 days.  The race begins.
4.22- 4.39- Trek through the jungles of Quon.  They befriend a band of Kuluku who lead them around the expedition.  They arrive almost a day ahead of the expedition.
4.39-4.41-  Inside Zaen.  They encounter Krylites and Kaeden.  They burn out the Kaeden nest with an impressive inferno summoned by Oztoff, and the area is saturated with elemental energies.  Fleeing their own destruction, the Drake encounter a member of the Green Brotherhood.  Further inside the Lost City, they find themselves cut off from their gods.  Even the Avatar of Cay is cut off by the concentration of dark Essaence.  When the familiars turn on each other, they sacrifice their most prized possessions for protection.  The Helm and Sword of Akol, sacrificed by Ja'rad, vanish and Akol is freed.  Latunda sacrifices the Sacred Sword of Cay, and it vanishes.  Nymalless sacrifices her staff and the Vial of Life.  With some divine protection, they face the horror of the Foundingstone and its guardian.  After a terrifying battle with the guardian and an ordainer summoned by the Foundingstone, they escape with their lives and the Urn of Nophru-Ka, but Nymalless is deeply wounded and cannot heal herself.  The rest of the Drake is mentally scarred.  They fly south to Falias, drop the Foundingstone into a volcano, and find Nymalless near death and the wound will not heal.  They risk the flows and gate back to Sel-Kai after paying quadruple Navigator's fees.
4.42-5.1-  The Drake plot to trap the Brotherhood by creating a facsimile of the item the Brotherhood wanted.  Dannan makes the urn while Oztoff infiltrates the UCO to monitor the situation.
5.2-5.12-  The plot thickens...they decipher a prophecy scrawled on a parchment found inside Nophru-Ka's urn from Zaen.  It hints at yet another chosen one who will "bring his father's help."  The Drake realize, though, that the translation is incomplete.
5.15- surveillance.
5.60-  The false urn is stolen on the night Orhan is new by individuals later identified by their facial features as children of Nophru-Ka.  The Drake follow them to the shore of the Barren Waters and watch as three individiulas attempt to perform a ritual.  To the Drake's surprise, they complete the ritual and  an Ordainer rises from the water.  Goaded into action, Latunda fires a Slaying beam at the Ordainer, reducing it to molten plasma.  The three flee, leaving a box and three jade daggers.  They catch a few clues from this encounter, and realize they have but three days before a ship leaves for Vog Mur.  The Drake surmises that the UCO plot involves the Lon Lemira, as the  Beast the Brotherhood plans to summon must have a vessel to contain it.
5.67-  The Drake travel to the Lon Lemira to scope out the territory and to make plans.  They discover how to awaken the Lon Lemira just as the ship containing the Brotherhood's contingent lands upon the shore.
5.70-  Near midnnight-  The Drake awaken the Lon Lemira just as the three individuals who had summoned the Ordainer near the endof their now- flawed ritual to summon the Beast.  They hide underneath the platform where the Lon Lemira had stood for tens of thousands of years as they sense essaence raging above them.
